    Positive Behavior Tracking (PBT)

The positive behavior tracking system partners with an intervention in order to ensure that data is collected and used for decision making. Each intervention must have data collection and progress monitoring components.

PBT Daily Record Sheet - This template captures the students' success throughout each day and should be used in conjunction with SEL groups and Affirmations.

PBT Data Collection Tool 2022-2023 - Daily data is entered into this spreadsheet and is translated into a variety of graphical views. This tool should be used in conjunction with SEL groups and Affirmations. It can also be used with CICO and BrB, as long as the rating scale aligns with the PBT rating scale.

PBT Training Video - This video demonstrates how to use the data collection tool, highlighting the graphing capabilities.

  • Affirmations

Affirmations provides students with written positive feedback related to schoolwide expectations throughout the day. Unexpected behavior is still supported, though not included in this form. It is particularly helpful for students who may become dysregulated when they feel their behavior might elicit less-than-desirable feedback. Because this intervention is not connected to a point system, it pairs well with the Positive Behavior Tracker Daily Record Sheet.
