    My name is Mercedees. I have worked in PPS for six years. Most of this time was spent as a para-educator working with students across all grades (K-12th grade). I am a mother of two children that gives me the drive to continue to be the best version of myself. I am very passionate about seeing students meet their full potential.     My name is Tobius. I started working in PPS at the Pioneer School before joining RRT 4 years ago. I am passionate about coaching students toward meeting their goals and overcoming obstacles inside and outside school. I have had the opportunity to coach multiple sports teams. I am also an avid music and sports fan. I am excited to work with you and your students.

    RRT Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)/MTSS Department

    Hello, my name is Peggy VanDuyne. I have worked as a licensed mental health clinician in Oregon and Washington for the past 15 years. I collaborate frequently with PPS building-based staff such as administrators, social workers, and school psychologists on action planning, crisis management, and enhancing support for students identified as needing Tier 3 level care or interventions. I am also knowledgeable about systems of care outside of the district that can support children and families. I look forward to partnering with you to support our students this year.

    Laura Bachelor (she/her)


    Hi, my name is Laura. I am a mom of two elementary school kids in PPS as well a wife and mom to a golden retreiver. This is my 25th year in education and my 2nd year in PPS. I have been a Special Education teacher and administrator, elementary school principal, high school vice principal, and Special Education TOSA. I am most passionate about meeting students where they are and doing what it takes to allow them to access their neighborhood schools and grade level academics. I love working with teams and problem solving to find solutions for our students that are letting us know they need additional resources to be successful. I look forward to working with you.
