Laura Batchelor (she/her)
RRT TOSA
Hi! I have been an educator my entire working career. I have been a Special Education teacher at both the elementary and high school levels, an elementary school Principal, high school Vice Principal, Special Education TOSA, and Associate Director of Special Education. I am most passionate about meeting students where they are and doing what it takes to allow them to access their neighborhood schools. I love working with teams and problem solving to find solutions for our students that are letting us know that they need additional resources to be successful. I live in Portland with my husband, two kids who attend PPS schools, and Golden Retriever "Molly". I look forward to working with you.

I have been with PPS for multiple years, with most of that time spent as a para-educator in special education classrooms working with students in the K-12 setting. I am a mother of two, which gives me the drive to continue to be the best version of myself. I am very passionate about seeing students meet their full potential. I look forward to working with you this year.

Peggy VanDuyne, LPC, LMHC (she/her)
RRT QMHP
Hello! I am a licensed mental health clinician in Oregon and Washington. Much of my time prior to joining the RRT was as a QMHP in the Special Education department supporting students' needs as they transition from treatment settings back to school. I am knowledgeable about systems of care outside of the district and I work with children and families to get connected to community-based resources. I look forward to our partnership to improve student well-being!
