PPS has adopted a new ELA curriculum from Great Minds and it will come in the following components:  "Wit and Wisdom" Teacher Guides, "Geodes" Decodable Readers, Libraries and Student Edition sets.

 

"Wit and Wisdom"  Teacher Guides - These teacher guides have been processed by Textbook Services and they are arriving via PONY starting the week of 8/8.  The Wit and Wisom teacher guides are already attached to your school location in Destiny and Library Staff should check these materials out to teachers. 

 

Each box is clearly labeled with a color-coded grade level.   We have also affixed a separate sticker that indicates what type of teacher the set is intended for, GenEd, SpED or ELD.  That is just a helpful guide for you, but all of the boxes are the same and can be checked out to any teacher in that grade level.

 

The other components of Wit & Wisdom (leveled readers, Geodes, student sets) are not processed for check out. Please just distribute to the correct grade classroom.

 

We have posted a  list of the Wit and Wisdom teacher guides we have processed and are being shipped tp each school.  

 

 

 

 

"Geodes" - These decodable readers, libraries and student edition sets are not processed and are shipped directly from the Northwest Textbook Depository to schools.
