Portland Public Schools uses surveys as a formal tool for gathering feedback about the experiences in and perceptions of our schools, as well as community values that should shape school district policy work. 

Under the direction of the PPS Research, Assessment and Accountability Department, the school district sets a high bar for participation and access. Surveys, for parents, students and employees, are offered in English and our five supported languages (Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian and Somali).
