Building Ventilation

"For the last several years, PBS Engineering and Environmental (PBS) has been working closely with Portland Public Schools (PPS) to best provide a safe indoor environment for students and teaching staff alike. Without exception, PPS has shown a dedication to identifying potential safety concerns and has never balked at resourcing quick and effective corrective actions that mitigate those concerns. Several of PBS’ own staff have children that attend schools within the district. Spouses of PBS staff have worked in schools within the district. PPS is committed to both maintaining safe schools in real time and to continuously improve conditions in existing schools through upgrade projects or school replacement. It is our opinion that PPS buildings are safe and that through upgrades and replacement will be made even safer." - PBS Environmental
