Ian Ritorto

Ian Ritorto is a senior at Roosevelt High School. He often spends his free time engaging in both local and federal politics, frequently attending town halls, volunteering for political campaigns, and currently holds a position on Maxine Dexters' Youth Advisory Council. Outside of politics, he's one of the core members and a captain on the Roosevelt speech and debate team. 

He represented his school on the District Student Council (DSC) last year and was the first to hold the position in recent years. As the Student Representative, he now chairs the DSC and holds a non-voting position on the school board, where he has used his seat to relentlessly advocate for issues like school funding reform. He is currently working with the Title IX department and students to develop a new Title IX curriculum for health classes. He often spends free time in classes responding to public comment emails, so don't hesitate to shoot him a message!
