Portland Public Schools District Student Council
The District Student Council's (DSC) Mission is to elevate and unify student voice within the district, increase student involvement, and facilitate collaboration and interaction between various PPS student groups and PPS leadership. The DSC is made up of PPS high school students who meet bi-weekly at the Prophet Education Center (PEC) prior to PPS Board of Education meetings.

The core functions of PPS Student Council include:
- Elevate and leverage student input on school and district issues to PPS leadership.
- Incorporate student perspectives in board meetings and policy, in support of the Student Board of Education Representative.
- Host Annual District Student Council Student Summit.
