Mt Tabor Middle School (Completed 2020)
Roof/Seismic w/ Fall Protection -
Partial re-roof of the school building. All components approximately 50% of the school's roof will be replaced including skylights, flashings and sheet metal, with seismic upgrades including parapet bracing strengthening roof decks and improving roof to wall connection. All portions of the roof will have OSHA -compliant fall protection equipment incorporated into the final design.

Kelly Elementary School (Completed 2020)

Harrison Park K-8 School (Completed 2020)

Partial re-roof of the school, including replacement of 5 deteriorated air handling units as well as science greenhouse skylights.  We also provided some minor ADA upgrades to one set of student restrooms.  In addition, we installed new roof ladders and hatch. All portions of the roof will have OSHA -compliant fall protection equipment incorporated into the final design.

Ockley Green Middle School (Completed 2020)

Partial re-roof of the school building, approximate 60% re-roof including the administration, library, mechanical room, kitchen, dance and gymnasium area.  This included installation of new roof drains and skylights at the library as well.  In addition, we replaced all stair handrails and provided ADA compliant upgrades to a set of restrooms. All portions of the roof will have OSHA -compliant fall protection equipment incorporated into the final design.

Rigler Elementary School (Completed summer 2019)

Roof and seismic upgrade will include all areas of the roof except for the two newer portable buildings.  All components of the roof will be replaced included skylights, flashings and sheet metal, with seismic upgrades including parapet bracing strengthening roof decks and improving roof to wall connection. The unreinforced masonry chimney was also removed. All portions of the roof will have OSHA -compliant fall protection equipment incorporated into the final design.

Sitton Elementary School (Completed summer 2019)

Roof and seismic upgrade will include all areas of the roof except for the two newer portable building.  All components of the roof will be replaced included skylights, flashings and sheet metal, with seismic upgrades including parapet bracing strengthening roof decks and improving roof to wall connection. All portions of the roof will have OSHA -compliant fall protection equipment incorporated into the final design.

Fernwood – Beverly Cleary K-8 School (Completed fall 2018)

The roof/seismic upgrades include all roof areas due to their deteriorating conditions. The roof assessment was based on direct observations and the 2011 Professional Roof Consultants roofing assessment report provided by Portland Public Schools. All components of the roof will be replaced including skylights, flashing, sheet metal, and gutters, with seismic upgrades including parapet bracing strengthening roof decks and improving roof to wall connection.   All portions of the roof will have installed OSHA-compliant fall protection on equipment, with new roof hatches, and new fixed ladders.

Martin Luther King Jr. School (Completed summer 2018)

The roof/seismic upgrades include all roof areas, except for the MLK Jr. Community Annex. The complete roof assessments are still required by the design firm.  All components of the roof will be replaced included skylights, flashings and sheet metal, with seismic upgrades including parapet bracing strengthening roof decks and improving roof to wall connection.  All portions of the roof will have OSHA -compliant fall protection equipment incorporated into the final design.

Jackson Middle School (Completed summer 2019)

The roof/seismic upgrades include all roof areas, except those recently reroofed (2009), due to their deteriorating conditions. The roof assessment was based on direct observations and the 2008 Professional Roof Consultants roofing assessment report provided by PPS. All components of the roof will be replaced including flashing, sheet metal, and scuppers, with seismic upgrades including parapet bracing strengthening roof decks and improving roof to wall connection.  The unreinforced masonry chimney will also be removed. All portions of the roof will have installed OSHA-compliant fall protection on equipment, with new roof hatches, and new fixed ladders.
