Portland Public Schools is undertaking a districtwide rightsizing process to better align our schools, programs, and resources with the needs of today’s students and the realities shaping our future.
As Principal of DART Schools, I am honored to serve our five campuses and support students on their academic and personal journeys. At DART, we believe that education and well-being are deeply connected, and we are committed to creating a learning environment where every student can thrive.
Our academic programs are designed to support students as they receive the treatment and care they need. By working closely with our treatment partners, we ensure that each student’s mental health and educational goals are prioritized. This means providing access to grade-level learning, flexible pathways, and individualized support that fosters both academic growth and emotional resilience.
At the heart of DART are our shared core values. We are deeply committed to inclusivity, making sure every student feels seen, respected, and celebrated. We nurture growth by supporting academic, personal, and emotional development, while self-empowering students to take ownership of their learning and recognize their strengths. Through collaboration with families, guardians, staff, and partners, we create a network of care and support.
