The Student Voice Advisory Council (SVAC) is the districtwide leadership body for middle school students. 
 
Convened by the Superintendent, the SVAC creates a space where 7th and 8th grade representatives engage in critical conversations about the issues that matter most in our schools and communities.
 
Each middle school is asked to select one 7th grade student and one 8th grade student to serve as representatives for the 2025–26 school year.

This year, our priority is ensuring every middle school has a seat at the table while laying the groundwork for sustainable recruitment practices in future years. Together, we can build a strong pipeline of student leadership across PPS.
