PPS Digital Toolkit

The PPS Digital Toolkit is a collection of applications available to PPS students, teachers, and staff. These digital resources are foundational for in-person technology-enhanced instruction. The Digital Toolkit does not include limited licensed applications purchased by individual classrooms or schools.

Most tools can be accessed via the my.pps.net dashboard.

To ensure our digital toolkit is effective for teaching, aligned with our core curriculum, and safe for student and staff data privacy, we are updating our digital application approval process for the 2026-27 school year. These changes are designed to streamline how we adopt new tools so that every application meets safety standards following recent industry-wide security incidents.

Key Changes You Need to Know

  • We are transitioning from LearnPlatform to ClassLink’s AppTrack. Before requesting a new digital tool, staff should check the ClassLink Public App Portal (available via the tile in My.PPS) to see if the app is already approved or licensed.
  • Instructional app requests now begin at the building level to foster instructional conversations. If an app isn't listed in the portal, educators should consult with their building principal to discuss how the tool supports instructional goals and grade-level curriculum. Building administrators will then submit the formal request on the educator's behalf for district-level technical vetting.
  • To ensure thorough security and technical vetting, we are moving to a seasonal schedule. App requests will now be accepted during three specific windows per year. Central Office and Operations requests may submitted at any time.
    • Fall Window: Aug. 3 – Sept. 14
    • Winter Window: Jan. 19 – Feb. 16
    • Spring Window: May 17 – June 14
  • Important Security Reminder: District Google accounts cannot be used to sign into or create accounts on non-approved or third-party apps.
