WHAT IS THE SYNERGY MTSS MODULE?

Synergy MTSS is the tool for PPS Student Intervention Teams (SIT), Academic Interventionists and teachers to submit SIT Requests for Assistance, develop intervention plans, and collect and analyze Tier III academic and Tier II and III behavior interventions.

Synergy MTSS Components for Classroom Educators-TeacherVue:

• Complete the SIT Request for Assistance in MTSS Home

• Access MTSS Plans and progress monitor behavior interventions from Seating Chart

Synergy MTSS Components for Student Intervention Teams:

• Receive and review SIT Request for Assistance in MTSS Home

• Create academic intervention plans and take SIT notes in MTSS Plan

• Progress monitoring academic intervention plans.

• Create behavior intervention plans and take SIT notes in MTSS Plan and CICO

• Progress monitoring behavior intervention plans in CICO

• Receive and continue plans from previous year or previous school in MTSS Plan Continuation

• Record outcomes and close plans at end of intervention, when a student moves, or end-of-year

• Access student data from MTSS Home

  • EWS (Early Warning System)

    • Attendance 

    • Behavior

    • Academics

  • Intervention plan progress data

WHY DOES PPS USE THE SYNERGY MODULE?

• Support team engagement in reliable data collection and analysis - ensuring that the energy put toward supporting students is resulting in the outcomes we aspire to.

• District-wide alignment of Student Intervention Team (SIT) practices

• Support students who move from school to school as the receiving school will be able to pick up on intervention support as soon as they receive the student.
