Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funded annual grant program.  Our district implements this grant by providing free fresh fruits and/or vegetables to students in elementary and middle schools where grants have been awarded.  The purpose of the program is to increase the variety and frequency of fruits and vegetables that children eat and to positively influence their life-long healthy eating habits. We are excited to announce that FFVP grants have been awarded to 22 schools during the 2024-25 school year. The grant duration is 1 year or until grant funds run out, beginning October 1, 2024.
