Find Your School-Based Coordinator

When to Contact a Coordinator

  • You experienced or witnessed harassment, bullying, or discrimination
  • You need classroom or activity accommodations (disability/504)
  • You want to report a Title IX or Title VI concern or get advice first
  • You’re unsure which process (informal, formal, anonymous) fits your situation

If this is an emergency or someone may be in immediate danger, call 911.

What to include when you reach out

(This information is helpful, but not required)

  • What happened, when and where
  • Names of people involved or witnesses (if known)
  • Any messages, posts, or screenshots (if relevant)
  • What support you’re requesting (safety plan, schedule change, interpreter, etc.)

Prefer to write it out? Here’s a quick template:

“Hello, I’m contacting you as the (Title IX / Title VI / 504) coordinator for [School]. I’d like help with [brief description]. The incident occurred on [date/time] at [location]. I’m requesting [supports/next steps]. Please let me know what information you need and the soonest time we can talk. Thank you.”

Your Privacy Matters

  • Privacy: We handle information with care and share only what’s necessary to address concerns.
  • No retaliation: It’s against PPS policy to retaliate against anyone who raises a concern or participates in a process.
  • Language support: Free interpretation and translation are available. Request in your message or at the front office.
  • Accessibility: We provide reasonable accommodations for meetings and communications under ADA and Section 504.
