The PPS Department for Civil Rights promotes and ensures equity, social justice and academic success for all PPS students. 

• Every student must feel like they belong. 

• All are entitled to discrimination/harassment-free schools. 

• We are all responsible for keeping schools safe. 

• All who engage with our school communities are entitled to participate in school-related activities without fear for their personal safety.

The  Department for Civil Rights provides leadership in education and compliance for all equity-related issues and in the development and enhancement of diversity and equity so that each student can achieve their maximum potential in a positive and safe learning environment.
