Inclusive School Communities: Family Engagement & Resources

Vision: PPS SPEAC envisions a district where all students are confident, happy, included, and prepared for post-school life based on their individual goals and needs.
Mission: PPS SPEAC advocates for all students with disabilities at the family, school, and district levels.
Membership: SPEAC membership represents the broad array of families and disabilities in special education. The majority of Council members are family members of special education students. We are looking for at least one representative per school. If you would like to be a representative on the SPEAC council for your child and school, please complete this form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Meetings: The Council meets monthly during each school calendar year.
Community Conversations
Are discussions on how we can work in collaboration together to build and strengthen the experiences, practices, supports and inclusion for students with disabilities. It centers our commitment for every student to thrive and feel welcome and supported in their school community. We want to hear from all PPS families of students with and without disabilities.
