This program is for teacher leaders and other experienced certified staff who want to take the first step in exploring what leadership and administration look like in PPS.

To take the next step toward a leadership position, PPS aspiring administrators enroll in a licensure program at our partner institution, Lewis & Clark Graduate School

If you are obtaining administrative licensure outside our district cohort at Lewis and Clark, we will facilitate your internship placements, provide learning opportunities for you and your mentor, and know who you are to support your future placement as an administrator.

In 25-26 we will pilot a new pathway program for current instructional coaches who already have their administrative license and are ready to move into a school administrator role in the next 1-2 years. This program will support instructional leaders to build their leadership toolkit to ensure they can scale their instructional leadership schoolwide. 

As a first through third year Assistant or Vice Principal, you receive onboarding, leadership coaching, and get to learn monthly with a network of peers.

• Participants will receive welcome and intake emails each summer, with programming starting each August.

Principals in their first three years on the job receive individualized coaching, monthly learning in collaboration with peers, and continued onboarding.
