Accountability and Reporting

The Accountability and Reporting team shares responsibility with the Analytics team for providing data and reports to be used for district and partner decision making. This team also has responsibility for some state and district accountability reporting.

Data Reporting

Accountability and Reporting has responsibility for routine and ad-hoc data reporting and querying needs, with particular expertise in state and local assessments, grade reporting, student and school characteristics and various other student outcomes ranging from kindergarten attendance through post-secondary enrollment.

While we encourage the use of existing sources of data when new data needs arise within the district and with district partners, we are also happy to be thought partners in determining and defining new data needs as well as providing data that meet legal and ethical requirements for data sharing.

Accountability

The Accountability and Reporting team has responsibility for coordination of State Report Card data collection and reporting requirements, PPS Alternative Accountability Report Cards, district equity key performance indicators, PPS Board Priorities and other accountability systems. In addition, the Accountability and Reporting and Analytics teams are responsibility for the majority of state required data collections and validations and work with other departments when such responsibilities are shared.
