The PPS Comprehensive School Counseling Program supports students in developing the academic, career, and social-emotional skills needed for success in school and beyond. School counselors partner with students, families, educators, administrators, and community members to provide comprehensive counseling programs that support each student throughout their PK–12 experience.

The PPS School Counselor Resources website is the primary resource hub for PPS school counselors. Organized around the ASCA National Model and Oregon Framework, the site brings together program guidance, planning tools, student-facing resources, district forms, professional learning, and other resources used in school counseling practice.

Program Planning
Comprehensive School Counseling Planning
Each PPS school is required to maintain a comprehensive school counseling program. School counselors develop an annual Comprehensive School Counseling Plan (CSCP) in collaboration with their building administrator to plan the delivery of counseling services and support district and Oregon requirements. Planning resources include the CSCP Planning Template, PPS Counseling Framework, program components, and ASCA standards.
