The Comprehensive School Counseling Plan (CSCP) helps school counselors develop, organize, and communicate their comprehensive school counseling program.
Each PPS school is required to maintain a comprehensive school counseling program. The CSCP provides a tool for counselors to plan the delivery of services and share program plans with administrators, their school community, and other stakeholders.
School counseling programs are required by the state of Oregon. The CSCP process supports PPS schools in meeting applicable Oregon Division 22 requirements (OAR 581-022-1510) .
Use the CSCP Planning Template to guide the development and delivery of your school’s comprehensive counseling program. A CSCP is completed each year by the school counseling program in collaboration with the building administrator. Questions about the planning process can be directed to your COSA.
