Dear First Grade Families

Welcome! I will be your child’s first grade teacher, and I am delighted and honored to have your child in my class this year. I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Serena Marquardt and I am looking forward to a very successful year -- I know you are, too! This is my tenth year of teaching but my second year with Faubion K-8 School and I am so excited to be here.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full potential. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the year ahead.
