FAFSA and ORSAA Information

To be eligible for most types of financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA). These applications compile financial information and other details about students and families to determine financial need and eligibility for various financial aid opportunities. Every year, millions of students who are eligible to receive aid don’t complete the FAFSA and money is left that could have helped them achieve their future goals.

Scholarships

Scholarships are additional funding sources for you to be able to pay your college tuition. There are many different kinds of scholarships available for you.

Make a Budget

It’s never too early to make a plan to pay for postsecondary schools or training! The process to understand, research, and find the right options takes time and should optimally begin in middle school or 9th grade.

College Entrance Exams

College entrance exams are standardized aptitude tests to evaluate students in various areas such as math, reading, writing and analytical skills for college admission purposes.

School Counseling

Professional school counselors, in partnership with teachers, students, parents, community members and administrators, will ensure that each and every student becomes a life-long learner and a respectful citizen of a diverse, multicultural, international community.

Every high school has a college & career center that supports students in high school and postsecondary planning.
