Jocelyn Orellana
Jocelyn Orellana is a paraprofessional, or an educational assistant, here at Ida B. Wells. She has been working for two years, starting last year in the fall. Orellana went to Oregon State and graduated in 2020. When she was in school, her teachers made a big impact on her and she wanted to have that same effect on other people in her own career. Outside of school, she has a dog and a cat to take care of, and she likes to crochet, play video games, and read. If she wasn’t in a career in education, her dream job would be investigative journalism, or something with children or teens, like child psychology. Orellana is really excited to work here and to have a successful second year of teaching.
