Poppy Levin is a part-time school psychologist who works not just at Ida B. Wells, but also at Atkinson Elementary and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary. This is her second year as an employee but she did her internship year here three years ago. Levin really enjoys teaching and tutoring, and although her current job doesn’t involve that, she still gets to be around students. Outside of school, Levin has two kids and enjoys Brazilian martial arts, dancing, yoga, reading, and traveling. If she didn’t have a career as a school psychologist, she would probably be in private practice as a therapist or a clinical psychologist.
