Do you need to add or remove an authorized pick-up person to your student's profile? Visit ParentVUE and choose the "Yearly Verification" tab. From there, click on the Emergency Contact tab and you will be able to add/remove names. If you need to add " permission to walk home", the work around is: in the FIRST NAME spot put "permission to" and in the LAST NAME spot put "walk home". Please notify your child's teacher of any changes to the pick up routine. Contact Mark at mrobb@pps.net with any questions.
Parents / Guardians: PLEASE be sure to include the office in any and all communication regarding your student being absent. Teachers don’t always have time to forward emails to us and they are only able to mark Absent or Tardy in attendance. They cannot put in an excused absence (Vacation, Appointment, Family Emergency, etc.). Only the office can! Add email mrobb@pps.net (Mark). OR you can leave a message on the School Attendance Line at 503-916-6256. In all cases, please be sure to leave a REASON for your students' absence. We now have to call any unexcused absence (and all new sick) students each day.
Questions? You can always call or email the office at 503-916-6216!
Dear PPS Community,
This summer, youth gun violence has increased throughout the country and in the city of Portland. This year 729 shootings have occurred throughout the Portland area, impacting PPS students, families, and entire school communities. This is traumatic for all and we encourage you to support one another and anyone impacted by gun violence in our community.
