    PSAT News

All 10th graders will be taking the PSAT on October 13th for FREE at FHS.  There is no need to sign up because it is required for sophomores and we are already planning for you to take it.  The PSAT is a practice version of the SAT, a college entrance exam used by some schools.  If you would like to do some test prep for the PSAT here is a link https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/pdf/psat-nmsqt-student-guide.pdf and there are also booklets that you can pick up near the main entrance desk or outside the counseling office if you prefer a paper version.

Contact Alice Headley, Testing Coordinator, with questions at aheadley@pps.net.

    11th graders

Due to last school year being online, our current juniors didn't get the opportunity to take the PSAT.  This year all juniors are welcome to sign up for the Oct 2021 PSAT at FHS for FREE.  Please complete this form if you are a junior who would like to sign up for the PSAT.   (Juniors will all take the SAT in APRIL as usual).  Taking the PSAT as a junior is practice for the SAT and also the only way to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship if your score qualifies you.

Students must be using their PPS email to submit the form. The deadline to sign up for the PSAT is Monday, September 20th. Contact Alice Headley, Testing Coordinator, with questions at aheadley@pps.net.

Covid Vaccine information for high school students: On August 31, Governor Brown issued an Executive Order that requires all K-12 employees and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Since student leaders will be volunteering outside of their school community, they will also need to be fully vaccinated along with all of our Outdoor School staff.
