In 2018-2019 Students, alumni, families, teachers, and other friends of Lincoln High School will be celebrating the school’s sesquicentennial (150th anniversary). LHS is one of the West’s oldest and most celebrated public secondary schools. Most events will occur in Portland – but some might be in far flung places around the world, wherever LHS alumni live!
L150 will include students, parents, alumni and the larger community. Alumni will be reminded of their affinity with our school. We all will celebrate and work towards a more just and equitable world, in the spirit of our academic and civic heritage.
To hold a celebration that is just, inclusive and participatory;
To have fun and renew friendships;
To build a strong base for excellence in the next 150 years;
To assist in the “Lincoln Rebuild” to prepare for the future;
To carry forward the Cardinal Spirit of inspired learning to make a better world for all.
To have fun!
