If your elementary or middle school student is an emerging dancer, they have the chance to train with one of the top dance programs in the state, the Jefferson Dancers. The Jr. JD Dance Clinic is open for children of all skill levels in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Onsite registration before the first practice is from 5:30-6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12; practice runs from 6-7:30 p.m. The second practice is Thursday, Sept. 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. Both are at Jefferson High School, 5210 N. The Board's Enrollment and Forecasting Committee will listen to considerations for the Harriet Tubman and Roseway Heights catchment.
On the agenda: Feeder school recommendations and context, enrollment balancing with boundary changes, updated staffing models, and the impact of Right of Return policies. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 7, from 6pm-8pm in the Wy'East conference room at the Blanchard Education Service Center (BESC), 501 N. Dixon Street.
