    Vandalism at Capitol Hill

We have had several instances of vandalism as well as a recent break in at Capitol Hill. Apparently, several families were on the playground when the break in happened. If you see something unusual or concerning, we urge you to call the non-emergency police line or 911 depending on the severity. Safety is a priority for us and we need your help to make our school the safest it can be.

    Student Pickup

Parents and approved people on a child’s pick up list must have their identification with them to take their child from school. We will be asking everyone for ID since it's hard to see who is who with the masks on.

    Bus Riders

If you requested transportation for your child to and/or from school, the Transportation Department set up your stops based on your address. If you want your child to get off at a different place or ride a different bus, you have to work with transportation to make that change. Changes are taking about 2 weeks at this point. Capitol Hill staff cannot make changes to your child’s assigned bus or assigned bus stop. Changes are between you and transportation. Please do not send a note or email to the office or teacher requesting a change because we are unable to alter the bus assignments.  Transportation’s contact information can be found here
