• Principal's Weekly Message

    Hello Families & Partners -

It has been brought to my attention that we have a mural in the library that contains an image of the Imperial German Flag that had been used during the Nazi Regime and is currently being embraced by Neo-Nazi groups. I am appreciative of the student that shared this noticing with a staff member.  As a result, I have made a Project Development Request to begin the process for making a change to just this flag on the mural.  I want to ensure that the Art in our school is representative of our values and any symbols of oppression will not be tolerated in our spaces.  For additional information regarding Murals inside school buildings, see the Art in the Schools page on the PPS Facilities website.  As I learn more about whether there are necessary steps with gathering community input when requesting a change to a mural, I will share that information with you.

Please see below for some important updates!
