    Russian-Immersion Program Parents

We'd like to invite you to join our parent group of students in Russian Immersion. You may have heard of "Vmestye." We'd like to meet to see if there's interest in re-invigorating the group. It's purpose is to support the Russian Immersion program (and students) at Kelly. Some projects that we can work on together include the end of year celebration, maybe think about planning a mid-year celebration, engaging with the PTA and coming out for evening events at the school like the May 14th Reading night, and litter clean-up projects. Here is the planned meeting agenda:

    1. Intro: a brief account of the history of Vmestye

    2. Discussion questions: How do current parents see the future of this group? Do they want to follow the existing set-up? Do they want to dissolve this non-profit group? What are their goals with the group? What changes would they like to see? What is the group’s vision for the future?

    3. Voting: in case the group wants to revive/dissolve this non-profit. Revive means voting for volunteers who want to serve on the board as president, vice president, secretary, treasurer.

We also have a parent Viber group, where we send informational messages from the school (such as announcements/updates from Russian Parent Tea). Please join us or ask someone you know that's going, to be added to the Viber group.
