FREE COVID-19 Vaccine opportunity:5/4/2021
May 3, 2021
Dear High School Students and Families,
Students 16 and older at Portland school districts, including PPS, are being offered a new opportunity for free-of-charge COVID-19 vaccinations, starting this week at the Oregon Convention Center. If your 16+ student has not yet been vaccinated, we hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.
Students will receive the Pfizer vaccine; it is a two-shot series, with the doses given approximately three weeks apart. Dates in the form linked below are to receive the first dose.
PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity is also available to family members of high school students. Simply fill out a form for each family member to schedule their vaccination appointment.
Please complete this form to schedule your student’s vaccination. If you will need a ride to and from the Oregon Convention Center, please indicate that in the form and someone will follow up with you to confirm space on one of our bus shuttles.
The form contains additional information and details, so please click through to learn more.
We know that the vaccination process can seem overwhelming and confusing, so we hope this process we are now offering is simple and straightforward for you and your high school student. We are here to help, and we hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.
