    Dearest Sunnyside Families,

    The auction last week was a reminder to me of how important community is and how powerful it is when community shows up to support one another and embrace a common goal. Also, it was a great party! I want to thank all of the organizers of the event and all of those who worked that night to make sure that everything went smoothly and that everyone had a ton of fun! I wish that schools didn't have to raise money to support their programming, but alas that is public education, and you all showed up in force. Because of you, we get to continue providing our students with field trips and unique educational opportunities that they wouldn't get in any other place. Thank you!

    Class pictures
    Class pictures were this week; each class took one formal photo and one goofy photo. Each photo costs $8.00. (If you are able, please consider contributing additional funds towards a scholarship. Our desire is for every student to take home a copy of their class photo.)
