    Dear Southeast PPS families and staff,

    We want to provide you with some updates regarding the Southeast Enrollment & Program Balancing implementation. As a reminder, last spring the PPS School Board approved boundary changes for fall 2023 that expand access to middle schools, and strengthen enrollment at small elementary and dual-language immersion programs. On October 25, 2022, the Board also passed resolution 6599 to move the Lent English Scholars to Marysville at the beginning of the 2023-24 school year.

    How do I know what school my child(ren) will attend?

    We will provide answers to frequently asked questions, and will update those questions to reflect what we’re hearing from the community. Your principal is also a great source, and they will reach out to central departments with questions they need help answering. You can also connect with us directly via Let’s Talk.     Key Updates:

    There are many program, boundary, and/or feeder pattern changes into our SE middle schools. If you want to request a transfer to a different school, please submit an application here by December 16th.

    The Central office departments are working with our partners to expand childcare and afterschool enrichment opportunities for students and schools impacted by SEGC planning. We are also working closely with our transportation department to ensure access to transportation.

    If you are impacted by any changes, expect to hear more opportunities to get to know your new school community in the next coming months.
