RESCHEDULED: Woodstock Community Conversation
Next week’s Community Conversation has been rescheduled for Friday, November 19 at 5:00 PM.
Next week, there is a PPS Board Meeting on Tuesday at 6:00 PM and the next installment of the SE Guiding Coalition (SEGC) meeting process on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Based on that information and additional feedback/input, the Woodstock Community Conversation, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been moved to Friday, November 19 at 5:00 PM.

As a reminder, this meeting will be a follow-up to our last Community Conversation regarding the Enrollment and Program Balancing proposals that were recently shared with the SE Guiding Coalition. Dr. Omogbehin, Regional Superintendent, will be present at this rescheduled meeting as well to hear questions and concerns from the Woodstock Elementary community.
Families are encouraged to attend/watch the PPS Board and SEGC meetings next week for additional updates prior to the Community Conversation.
At this point, it is unclear what will be shared at the Board and SEGC meetings, but there will hopefully be an update on the existing proposals, the new proposal development, and next steps.
The tentative agenda for the Woodstock Community Conversation will include a summary of the current status and space for families of the Woodstock Elementary community to share feedback with the District Representative, Dr. Omogbehin.
With the recent changes, we are working on securing an interpreter for our Mandarin and Cantonese speaking families, but plan to have that in place by next Friday’s meeting.
We hope you can attend.
