TAG Referral Process 

If you are considering referring your child for TAG, start by reaching out to their teacher. They will be able to answer many of your questions about TAG services in the classroom.

Referrals submitted by February 15 are considered SPRING referrals. Students referred in the fall are not eligible for a spring referral.

1. Complete a TAG Referral form. Choose your preferred language from the list below. The link opens a guidance document with directions on how to complete the form.

2. Any additional tests required are scheduled with the school beginning in January for FALL referrals and in March for SPRING referrals.

3. Identification decisions and updates in Synergy are completed in February for FALL referrals and April for SPRING referrals.

3. Families will be notified about the results of the referral once identification decisions are complete. Communication will come directly from the TAG department in a letter and/or email.
