The Lincoln Master Planning Committee (MPC)
The Lincoln (MPC) was a group of school and community stakeholder representatives who worked together to help provide feedback for the Lincoln master plan. View The Lincoln Master Planning Committee (MPC) Roster Español | Русский | 中文
MPC members also synthesized community-wide input and shared the evolving details of the project to others in the community. While MPC members did not make decisions, their input was crucial in creating a design that the entire Lincoln community can be proud of. Read the Lincoln MPC charter here.

Lincoln construction underway
Lincoln High School is now under construction and planned in two phases. During construction of the new building, students will continue attending school in the current Lincoln building. Construction activities will be separated by fencing providing a safe environment for students and staff. In the Fall of 2022 the new Lincoln High School building will open on the west side of the existing campus. In 2023 the new track and field will open on the site currently occupied by the existing school.
Why is Lincoln being rebuilt vs. modernizing it?
After thoroughly reviewing options and costs the design team determined it would be much less expensive to rebuild Lincoln High School than modernizing the existing building. A new building also allows for more modern options for facilities and educational spaces, and supports the most efficient use possible for the site.
Construction fences will go up during winter break. More details to follow soon.
