Welcome to Beach Library!
It's End-Of-The-Year Book Return Time!
Please return any Let's Get Reading! Book Bags or previously checked out Beach library books as soon as you can. Check for a barcode on the front of the book with Beach School Library printed on it. There will be a bin labeled LIBRARY BOOK RETURNS near the main entrance each school day for drop-offs.
Most books that went out this school year, through our Let's Get Reading! Book Bag program, were not checked out to the students' accounts. If you get a notice, it only states what was checked out to the student during the 2019-2020 school year. Therefore, please check around for any lingering books or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you're unsure whether you still have books from the school library. Thanks for your help in restocking our shelves with our amazing collection for next year's students!
Keep reading all summer with Multnomah County Library!
Students can keep good reading habits all summer AND win some prizes along the way! All you need is a game board that students can obtain:
- From their classroom teacher if they are coming in person to Beach
- By requesting a board at the school
- From any MCL location
- Online at https://multcolib.beanstack.org/reader365
Details and reading activities can be found within the game boards, but please e-mail email@example.com if you have any other questions.

Degrees and Certifications:
Hi Bobcats! I'm Ms. Hughes, your new teacher-librarian at Beach. This is my second year in PPS, and I'm excited to get to know you and help make your school year a great experience. I moved here from the Chicagoland area in 2019, and this will be my 6th year as a teacher librarian. I LOVE books and reading, and I hope to share this with all of you.
