You did it! It was an unusual year and we sure miss you! As we wrap up this school year you may be wondering what to do with your library books. You can bring books to school during locker pickup; however, if you cannot make it do not worry about fines! Keep reading and bring books back in the fall.
Check your library account by logging in to the Library Catalog
Books left in your locker have already been collected and turned in. If books show up when you log into your account, the books were not in your locker.
Please return your library books and textbooks when your parents pick up your locker belongings.
Great News! Multnomah County Libraries are opening up for holds and have been purchasing a lot of new ebooks and audiobooks for teens. The Summer Reading Gameboard is online and you can win some great prizes as you read some excellent books!
This year I want to challenge Beaumont Bobcats to read more than they ever have before. Read books that expose you to different perpectives and experiences lived. Read books by Black and Brown Authors. Books with LatinX protagonists. Make it a goal to find books written by and about Asian, Indigenous, and Arab Americans. Look for books that confront racism and books that support you in being antiracist. (links coming soon)
Ms. McMillan runs a group for students who love reading. If you'd like to join our Community of Readers check back in August for fun library activities, book talks, and/or book groups.
