Programs & Partnerships
The following are a few of the programs and partnerships that enrich the lives of our students:
- Free breakfast and lunch for all students (CEP program)
- Multnomah County Library's Books 2U program delivers books to 4th & 5th grade classrooms on a regular basis.
- Juntos Apprendemos parent education program meets on Tuesday afternoons for parents of 0-5 year olds; sponsored by the Latino Network
- SUN after school homework help and enrichment classes, including Chess for Success and Rigler Peace Garden; supported by Multnomah County and IRCO
- SMART - Reading with 34 kinder & first graders
- IRCO - Africa House - Connecting with African Immigrant Families - Parent advocacy and education, home/school connections
- Resolutions Northwest - Restorative Justice Program Coordinator
- Black Parent Initiative - Family Cultural Literacy Night, Parent University
- Portland Police Bureau - GREAT (Gang Resistance Education and Training) - 5th Grade
- Adult ESL Classes sponsored by Latino Network
- Morrison Family Services - counseling
