• IMPORTANT: Meal Distribution Canceled for Friday

    Dear PPS Families and Staff,
    As air quality levels continue to decline and having reached unhealthy and dangerous levels for outdoor activity, we have canceled meal distribution services today (Friday). 

    All other site-based activities are canceled, as previously announced. All school buildings are closed. Comprehensive Distance Learning continues today as planned, as we complete the final day of our soft start with teachers and students working online.

    One of the most important things we do is serve meals to our students. In pandemic conditions, we are unable to serve meals indoors. Our decision to cancel meal distribution today is out of concern for the health of those students, their families and our staff.

    We know that many of our employees and families are affected in some way by the fires that are devastating our region. Our thoughts are with them, and with everyone impacted.
