Dear CSS Families and Community,
Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. We are excited to welcome our students back into the building as we strive to maintain the highest levels of health and safety for our community.
Communication is vital for a successful school program, and we hope the information we have provided here will provide helpful resources for the upcoming school year.
Enclosed in the Welcome Packet are the following:
CSS Community Handbook and Calendar: Please review the information provided in the handbook, sign the back of this letter, and return it to your student’s homeroom teacher.
Free and Reduced Price Meal Benefits: Please use the directions to apply for Free and Reduced Meal Benefits. Although all meals are free for this year, qualifying for this program may make students eligible for fee waivers or reductions for field trips, activities, before and after school programs, activities, Outdoor School fees, and more.
Verification Forms: The handout provides directions on how to verify your student’s information on ParentVUE. This information is essential for maintaining essential communication with families throughout the year. Please contact Joanna Goebel at email@example.com if you would like assistance with this process or accessing your ParentVUE account. Please sign the back of this letter acknowledging you were able to verify your student’s information.
Covid-19 Testing Consent Form: This form allows the school to perform Covid-19 testing with your student in the event your student shows symptoms while at school, or is part of Covid-19 screening. We cannot perform Covid-19 testing without the completion and return of this form.
PTA: Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a wonderful organization of parents and community members who support our school in many ways. Included are valuable resources and ways to get involved in our CSS PTA
Communication is vital to our community, and we appreciate your time in reviewing and completing the items in the Welcome Back Packet. Thank you for your continued support and collaboration in making our year safe and successful for our CSS community.
