• All schools closed Feb. 5; district office on 2-hour delay

    Due to inclement weather, all schools and school offices are closed today, Tuesday, Feb. 5. The BESC central offices is on a two-hour delay start time, which means the office will open at 10 a.m.

    Overnight snow and ice build-up has made it potentially unsafe for our buses and families to get to school. We expect a warm-up later that could allow district personnel to report to the central office later in the morning. Central office staff should check in with their supervisors this morning.

    Also, all afternoon and evening activities, including athletics, are canceled.
