    Madison High School

In just a few months, in June, Madison High School will close and undergo construction for two years in order to fully modernize the campus. Students and staff will move to the Marshall High School campus for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years.

To help the public learn more about the impacts of that construction on the neighborhood and community, the Madison design team will host an open house on Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Madison library, 2735 NE 82nd Ave.

A light meal will be available at 5:30 p.m. with the presentation starting at 6 p.m. Childcare will be provided. Interpretation in Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Chinese-Cantonese and Somali will be available.

Come meet the Madison design team and general contractor as they provide updates on design features and upcoming construction. Learn how Madison’s upcoming modernization will transform the neighborhood and:

    • How Madison will become a revitalized 21st century learning campus.
    • The construction impact on the community over the next two years.
    • The transportation plan for Madison students to reach the Marshall campus.
