Oregon law requires
every child who is seven (7) years of age or younger to have dental and vision
screenings before entering school for the first time, so you will need to complete
this form before the start of school.

The Wilson High School volleyball team is having a banner season in the Portland Interscholastic League. Entering this week’s matches, the Trojans have already clinched a share of the PIL title, their first since 2015, and can finish unbeaten in the league if they win their final two contests, at home against Jefferson on Tuesday, and at Benson on Thursday.
On Thursday, students throughout Portland Public Schools practiced what to do in an earthquake as part of the Great Shakeout. At Benson Polytechnic High School, a select group of students not only took part in the Shakeout, they also spent the day being trained in what to do in other emergency situations.
The Portland Public Schools Board of Education, at its meeting last week, declared October as the district awareness month for three health and wellness areas, using the occasion to spotlight the district’s efforts to support our students in an equitable manner.
