Program Overview

Alliance @t Kenton is a small, supportive high school with day and evening hours for students ages 16 to 21 who are within twelve credits of graduation. We accept new students every 2 weeks through rolling admissions, and can accept any secondary school student in the PPS district, upon approval through an admission process.

Personalized Learning
- Teachers meet you where you are with relevant assignments and one-on-one attention.
- Each student gets an individualized lesson plan from every teacher.
- Every teacher knows every student by name and face.
Flexible Learning
- Complete your diploma around your work or child-care schedule.
- Classes held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- To remain enrolled, students must earn at least 1/4 credit every nine weeks in every class they attend.
- Alliance @ Kentonn students pay no tuition to attend credit recovery and advancement programs, Summer Scholars or Portland Evening Scholars.
Purposeful Learning- College and career advising
- Graduate with a post-high school plan.
- Alliance graduates can qualify for the Future Connect Scholarship Program, which awards to first-generation or low-income students scholarships of up to $3,400 a year to attend Portland or Mt. Hood Community Colleges. Every Future Connect student receives a personalized academic advisor to help them navigate college.
