P-3 Coordination at Kelly

P-3 Coordinators work to align early learning and grades K-3 by connecting families to school before kindergarten and fostering parent leadership through early grades. They facilitate Play & Learn groups, which is a culturally responsive and developmentally appropriate play group for 0-5 year olds and their caregivers that engages and honors parents' role as a child’s first teacher. P-3 Coordinators also help facilitate a smooth transition to Kindergarten by helping with Kindergarten registration and coordinating the Early Kindergarten Transition Program (EKT) in the Summer, as well as facilitating the EKT parent groups for the duration of the program. They work to support parents, particularly those from underrepresented communities, in developing relationships with other families and nurture parent leaders to build confidence and a sense of ownership within their community school.

Play & Learn

This is a facilitated play group for parents to come play and learn alongside their children and connect with other parents in a supportive environment. At least one adult must participate with each child. Snacks are provided. Feel free to register beforehand, or just show up!

Edades: 0-5 años con un padre/guardiano acompañante

Es un grupo de juego en que los padres puedan jugar y aprender junto con sus hijos y conectarse con otros padres en un ambiente de apoyo. Al menos un adulto debe participar con sus hijos inscritos. Habrá aperitivos!

Đây là một nhóm dành cho các phụ huynh đến chơi với con trẻ và đồng thời là nhịp cầu quen biết với các phụ huynh khác trong một môi trường giao tiếp giúp đỡ nhau. Phải có một người lớn đi chung với con trẻ đang ghi danh học ở trường. Sẽ được cung cấp cho bữa ăn nhẹ.
