What would your kids say if you asked them what they love about da Vinci? At first, they might say their friends. But if you asked them to really think about it, I think most would say they love their teachers and doing some form of art every day.
And they’re right. Our teachers and our unique arts curriculum are what make da Vinci special. In an era where the arts are considered “extras," the arts are da Vinci.
Thanks to this integrated approach to teaching and learning, da Vinci students are thriving academically, socially, and artistically. This is one of the reasons we volunteer for the da Vinci Foundation.
The da Vinci Foundation raises money that is used to hire staff. It keeps our arts program safe from cuts in bad budget years and helps us expand in good years.
I urge you to join our campaign and give now. Even better, become a monthly donor. Monthly donors are especially valuable to the Foundation because they provide a consistent and reliable source of income. And, monthly giving allows you to spread a larger gift out over the course of a year. It’s easy to do, just sign up online through All Hands Raised.
The da Vinci Foundation was established in the 2010-11 school year. Funds raised by the Foundation are used to supplement our staffing and are essential to maintaining our program. Foundation money can only be used for teaching positions.
Donations to the foundation can be made online.
Click on the DONATE NOW button and be sure to choose "da Vinci" in the drop down menu.
All donations to the da Vinci Foundation are tax-deductible and these are the only funds we can use to ward off staffing cuts.
