The site council is made up of teachers, parents, staff, and community members working together to develop and implement the School Improvement Plan. This is the forum for boosting academics and achievement for all MLK Jr. students. If you cannot attend, you can stay informed by contacting the the school and ask to be put on the contact list.
Site Council is working closely with the principal to make real, ongoing change that increases opportunity for all students by using data to monitor progress and allocate limited funding and staff resources to the greatest needs. MLK Jr. School is a learning community that supports all students and meets them where they are and takes them where they need to go to succeed and be happy.
