PSU

  • Since 2006, students and faculty in the Portland State University Art and Social Practice MFA Program have been collaborating with community members, museums, organizations, and businesses to create site-specific and participatory projects. As an expansion of this work, the program has established a civic space at King School in Northeast Portland where PSU students are developing their artistic practices in a PK-8 context, creating neighborhood-based art projects, and bringing PSU activities directly to Portland Public Schools to advance socially engaged art education.

Graduate students will be posting their research and projects related to King School and education to this blog: http://kingschool.tumblr.com/
